From the Red Blackout:
5:30am.
This is the day my body melted: I woke up at the usual European time I used to go to sleep, at 11pm. The landing was scheduled at… 11pm on the same day.
It is there you realize our body is trained to sustain within a 24 hours daily span.
Everything was dark as the public lighting had been switched off. I faced this while passing a street corner. The red light was so diffused.
The feeling was ambivalent: securing thanks to the light, frightening because of the strong red color and the empty street.
